Kevin White is a Tampa native, and a U.S. Navy veteran, and Kevin brings a unique and very diverse background to ICON. Kevin began his law enforcement career in 1984 working with the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office; years later Kevin joined the Tampa Police Department. While serving in law enforcement Kevin became certified and gained valuable knowledge and experience in the areas of surveillance, firearms, investigation & interrogation techniques and self defense. Kevin also holds a black belt in martial arts.
Kevin brings a wealth of corporate knowledge and experience to ICON. For years Kevin served as a sales professional, general sales manager and finance director for local automotive franchises throughout the Tampa Bay area, and he was responsible for managing multi-million dollar budgets. While working as Director of Corporate Security for Rooms to Go, the worlds largest furniture retailer, Kevin envisioned creating a world class investigation/security agency. ICON is the result of that vision.
At ICON we believe education, training and customer satisfaction are the key components to a successful business venture. Kevin has earned a B.S. Degree in Criminal Justice, a B.A. Degree in Business Management, and in May of 2006 Kevin earned his Masters Degree in Organizational Management.

Kevin has made a lifelong commitment of service to his country as well as to his community by attempting to ensure the safety of all who live here. Kevin was elected to the Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners in 2006. Kevin is the Chairman of the Public Transportation Commission; he also serves on the board of Tampa General Hospital, and on the Hillsborough County Expressway Authority Board. Prior to being elected to the B.O.C.C. Kevin was elected to serve on the Tampa City Council in 2003.
